The artwork utilizes a multi-layered casting process to achieve its realistic 3D silhouette. Unlike traditional flat resin pours, these wings feature anatomical curvature and delicate overlapping, giving the butterfly the appearance of being caught mid-flight. The central body is heavily textured with shiny sequins providing a structural anchor that contrasts beautifully against the fluidity of the wings.

To mimic the natural complexity of butterfly wings, the piece employs advanced pigment suspension and "dirty pour" techniques:

• Atmospheric Blending: The wings feature a gradient of deep, royal purples and velvety blacks that bleed seamlessly into pearlescent whites. This creates a "smokey" effect, suggesting translucent layers and natural organic patterns.

• Gold Linework: Each wing segment is defined with ultra-fine, metal plating wire This mimics the delicate veins found in nature while adding strength to the whole structure and a touch of luxury and high-contrast definition.

• Iridescent Accents: Subtle inclusions of micro-glitter and shimmer pigments are suspended within the clear resin layers, catching the light to replicate the natural iridescence of scales found on a real butterfly.
